Pair and Connect

Power on: Press the Home button to turn on the controller.

Auto-connect: If the previously connected device is nearby and turned on, the controller will automatically connect to the previously connected device.

Entering Pairing Mode:

Press the Home button.

Press and hold the Pair button until the indicator light flashes, entering pairing mode.

On your device, search for the controller name "Pro Controller" and tap it.

Confirm pairing.

The indicator light will turn solid from flashing, indicating pairing is complete.

Setup and Usage for VITURE Pro Neckband

Bluetooth Connection

Press the Home Button to power on the controller.

Press and hold the Pair Button for 3 seconds until the Status LED lights start blinking. (This step only required for first time pairing.)

Power on the VITURE Pro Neckband and open Settings via Quick Settings or from the Home screen.

Navigate to Connected Devices > Pair new device. then select "Pro Controller" from the list.

Once connected, the Status LED Lights will remain solid.

Wired Connection

Simply connect the controller to the USB-C port on the VITURE Pro Neckband using a USB-C cable. The controller will power on automatically.

Switching Control Modes

You can easily toggle between stick controls and in-game controls by pressing and holding L1 + R1 (or LB + RB for Xbox controllers).

Stick controls: Designed for system navigation

In-game controls: Standard gameplay mode for gaming sessions.

Stick Controls

This is the default mode for wireless controllers when paired with the VITURE Pro Neckband.

Left analog stick: Moves the cursor.

Right analog stick: Scrolls.

In-Game Controls

Switch to in-game controls for standard gameplay, especially when playing remotely from consoles using PXPlay or XBXPlay on the VITURE Pro Neckband.

Tip: Certain games, such as Call of Duty: Warzone, may require stick controls for pre-game navigation (e.g., navigating menus or lobbies) and switch to in-game controls during actual gameplay.

Pairing With Nintendo Switch

System requirement: Switch system Ver 3.0.0 and later.

NFC scanning, IR camera, HD rumble, and notification LED are not supported.

Bluetooth Connection

Press the Home button to turn on the controller.

Hold the Pair button for 3 seconds to enter its pairing mode, the Status LED will start to blink rapidly. (This is required for the very first time only.)

Go to your Switch settings > Controllers and Sensors > Change Grip/Order, then wait for the connection.

The Status LED will remain solid when the connection is successful.

Wired Connection

Please ensure the Pro Controller Wired Communication is enabled in the system setting.

Connect the controller to the Switch via a USB cable and wait until the controller is recognized by the system to play.

Firmware Update

8BitDo provides a firmware update tool for the controller. Follow these steps to update the firmware on Windows or Mac:

Download the Update Tool.

Run the Tool: On Windows, unzip then run the .exe file. On Mac, install and open the application.

Connect the Controller: Use a cable to connect the controller to your computer.

Click Firmware Update in the app. The tool will check for available updates.

Select the latest firmware version and click Update.

Wait for the update to complete. Ensure a stable connection during the update process.

Once the update is complate, your controller is ready to use.

Button Mapping Troubleshooting

The VITURE x 8BitDo Ultimate C Bluetooth Controller is recognized as a Pro Controller; however, the layout of the right-side face buttons follows an "Xbox layout" (optimized for the Neckband).

Currently, global button mapping modification is not supported. If you experience issues with button mapping on PC or Nintendo Switch, you’ll need to configure the settings on the specific platform as described below:

Steam

To use the controller with the labels as shown on the device in Steam, follow these steps:

Connect the Controller: Connect the controller to your PC or Steam Deck.

Open Steam Settings: Open Steam and navigate to Settings > Controller.

Ensure Controller Recognition: Confirm the controller is recognized as a Nintendo Switch Pro Controller.

Enable Steam Input: Enable Steam Input for Switch Pro Controllers.

Enable Nintendo Button Layout: Enable Use Nintendo Button Layout to switch navigation to A for confirm and B for back.

Test Device Inputs: Select Test Device Inputs and click Begin Test.

Verify Button Mapping: Press the A, B, X, and Y buttons in sequence and confirm that the on-screen highlights match the labels on the controller.

Adjust Button Mapping if Needed: If the mapping is incorrect, click Setup Device Inputs and follow the on-screen instructions. Refer to the labels on the controller rather than the highlighted positions on the screen.

Launch a Game: Open your game library, select the desired game, and click the controller icon on the game page.

Confirm Steam Input Usage: Ensure that Using Steam Input is displayed, and check for "Your Controller" in the description.

Start the Game: Begin the game, and the in-game button prompts should match your controller’s actual layout.

Steam Link

After configuring Steam, you can use Steam Link for streaming, and the button mapping will work correctly without additional setup.

Nintendo Switch

To play on the Nintendo Switch using the Nintendo layout, follow the steps to remap the buttons:

On the HOME Menu, select Controllers, then choose Change Grip/Order.

Hold the Pair button on the controller until the LED starts flashing, then release.

Once the screen displays Paired, the pairing is complete.

From the HOME Menu, navigate to System Settings > Controllers and Sensors.

Select Change Button Mapping, then choose Pro Controller and click Change.

Swap A with B and X with Y, confirm, and save the changes.

Power and Battery

The Ultimate C Bluetooth Controller provides up to 16 hours of playtime, powered by a 480 mAh built-in lithium battery pack. It fully recharges in approximately 2 hours.

To power on the controller, press the Home button or connect it via a wired connection to turn it on automatically.

The controller will automatically shut down if:

There is no connection within 1 minute after startup.

There is no activity for 15 minutes after connection.

The controller will remain powered on when connected via a wired connection.

The remaining battery level and corresponding indicator are shown in the chart below.
